Diatoms - Stauroneis

Stauroneis - all species are freshwater and benthic (bottom living), commonly found in bogs, lakes and ponds, and also in wet soils and on moss.

Stauroneis, species undetermined. Found in diatomite deposit at Three Lakes, core TL5, at 3.6 to 3.7 m depth; also in core TL1 at 5.95 m depth.

Stauroneis gracilis in TL5 and also TL1 at 5.77 m depth.
